Welcome to Whickham Parochial

Mr ArmstrongAt Parochial we pride ourselves on providing a high quality education which focusses on the needs of children as individuals. We are committed to developing children who have a positive outlook on learning and understand what they need to do to improve and reach their potential. We focus on the importance of having a growth mindset and children taking responsibility for their own learning in preparation for their future lives in secondary school and beyond.

We are also very proud of our school community and the nurturing environment that has been created in partnership between school staff, parents, children and the Church. We want our children to come to school and enjoy what they are doing safe in the knowledge that they are going to be cared for by their fellow pupils as well as our staff. We aim to provide our children with lifelong memories and a desire to learn more.

I hope you will enjoy finding out more about our school on this website. If you are new to our school and would like more information, or to arrange a visit please do not hesitate to contact me.
